There is much set before me. My path has taken me to a point where I confront the elemental truth of my growth and development -- I design, I develop, I educate.
This is an ambitious program. This morning I was again reflecting on the ever-loving Buck-meister. Shelter for all. The world's purpose should be shelter for all. I thought about this in the context of a joke to my wife that my soon-to-be-replaced bat-robe would end up providing shelter to a family in a third-world village. But I saw in that instant the necessary distinction of the comprehensive anticipatory design scientist and the necessity to be willing to have design anticipation emerge. The state of being of being an anticipatory design scientist. My praxis has been, for a long time, to discover how to make that distinction -- that thought pattern -- that design pattern -- a default operating motive for human beings.
And it already is a default motive for human beings! We just forgot. Or we were taught to forget. More likely the latter. It's in the interest of the few to teach the many to conform to that which preserves the interests of the few. We are seeing that ideology metastasize before our eyes -- I speak particularly of the US. Perhaps twas ere so. But unrestrained growth is the ideology of the cancer cell. We have to find a way to register human needs more effectively.
